Where do I start? November was a crazy month. We had less than a months notice when we were asked to move to Knoxville. Joe was away and I got stuck doing all the packing.. Yay for me! On top of that we had Thanksgiving in Gatlynburg, TN this year so it didn't leave much time to do anything really. Thanksgiving dinner was made by Angela and I...::BORAT VOICE:: GREAT SUCCESS!! Came home and packed , drove back to TN for 12hrs and finally arrived at our new home. I love this house! Its not too big but enough room to not feel cramped. Cleaning it takes all day but it's ok. Although I will have to admit, I do get freaked out a lot. The house makes creepy noises. To the point where if I'm alone, I check every room just to make sure LOL. I know, I'm a bit crazy. Oh well. Christmas was a different story. Since we weren't able to travel to Baton Rouge this year [sad face] We all decided that we would have Christmas at our new house. I was in charge of dinner this year. I was trying my best to make everything Aunt Carol makes back in BR and I thought I had enough time to shop for food the night before Christmas... boy was I wrong. Jay and Judi arrived that same day, Angela and Charlie came over a few hours later. I thought it would fun to go shopping with everyone so everyone could pick out a dish they would want to make for dinner. So what went wrong? Well apparently [I didn't know this] WalMart closed at 6pm Christmas Eve!! I couldn't help but to feel like Christmas was a complete FAIL...BECAUSE OF ME!! And trust me Joe didn't make it any better. After a few minutes of thinking about what we were going to do, we decided we would deal with it later and go have dinner. Well, surprise surprise... everything is closed Christmas Eve... so what did we do? Well, as if it was ripped straight out of the movie "A Christmas Story" we needed up a Chinese Buffet LOL. On our way to dinner, I Googled "what stores are open Christmas Eve 2011" Target was OPEN...But only until 9pm! It was 8:15. As soon as we parked, I kicked everyone out of the truck and hauled butt to Target. I made it in 15mins and had only 30mins to shop! But when I got there, I had NO IDEA what to buy! I felt helpless! I thought I was about to break down and cry... in the middle of Target!! Then, I get a call from Charlie... him and Angela left the restaurant to help me shop. Well they ended up at a different Target but through text messaging and phone calls... we managed to buy the "essentials".  I owe them huge Thank You for helping me out that night. I was lost! Charlie was awesome through-out the whole thing "we got this, we got this" he kept saying and Angela helped out a ton too.."it's OK , we'll be fine..we have enough food to feed an army!". Christmas morning, we all woke up, made breakfast [pancakes, bacon, & eggs] and when Angela and Charlie arrived, We opened presents. Joey was a good boy this year because he got a ton of stuff!! New Shoes, slippers, remote control Lighting McQueen car, digital camera, books, Cars 2 movie and a bunch of new Cars 2 dye-cast cars from Mom and Dad. Ama,Papa,Angela and Charlie gave him a new leapster pad, blues clues books, Oreo cookies, and games for his pad. Santa gave him 2 motorcycles and a blues clues book...just like he asked! Daddy got the new Moto lapdock and headphones. I got a bunch of new clothes and a gift card to Express! I think we all had a successful Christmas. After that Angela  prepped the appetizers. We watched " A Christmas Story" and "Cars 2", drank some wine and Joe made his mom a concoction of who knows what to drink. It was fun watching Judi get tipsy. Later that night we played...what else?? Pictionary! That was fun! Joe & Judi vs Charlie & Angela vs Jay and Myself. Jay and I were doing good until we got stuck on a "difficult" for 2HOURS!! Angela seemed like she was getting frustrated with Charlie even though it was his first time playing and Joe was complaining that Judi was just breathing over his shoulder and not guessing, but Joe couldn't guess the word "squirrel". [FOR THE RECORD... IT TOTALLY LOOKED LIKE A SQUIRREL, JOE WAS JUST BLIND!]. What a fun night. The next few days we just hung out, went to dinner a few times, play more Pictionary and went shopping! It was nice having my in laws visit us. Joey definitely missed Ama and Papa. New Years Eve, the 3 of us stayed home and enjoyed each others company. We watched a movie ... "The Change Up"..very funny and stayed up until midnight for our midnight kiss =]
